The Who’s Who in Asian American Communities Awards is adding two new changes to its 3rd Annual WWAAC event.  The WWAAC Leaders and Legends Awards will be the grand finale of the National Association of Asian American Professionals’ (NAAAP) 22nd Annual Convention in Los Angeles in August. Secondly, the WWAAC Awards will be televised and aired to an estimated 15-million homes across the nation.

For over one hundred fifty years, Asian Americans have made enormous contributions to the prosperity and success of this great nation.  While there are many different Who’s Who organizations recognizing outstanding members of our society, very few, if any, focus on the prominent Asian Americans who have been our role models for success, great contributors to our community and to the nation, and distinguished figures in their own professions.

The WWAAC committee is a group of Asian Americans dedicated to honoring successful Asians who serve as leaders and role models in their respective communities.  The purpose of the WWAAC Committee is to recognize the accomplishments of these leaders, publicize their achievements, and promote the Asian American community into mainstream America.

Unlike other Who’s Who organizations – membership to the distinguished and elite WWAAC Leaders and Legends program cannot be purchased.  As recipients of the exclusive WWAAC award, Honorees must pass rigid scrutiny, fulfill numerous obligations, and possess outstanding accomplishments. It is the WWAAC Committee’s goal to once again include only those distinguished Asian Americans who meet the required standards.
